SAWF IN envisions a world where women, girls, trans and gender non-conforming persons realise their constitutional rights and freedoms to equality and non-discrimination.

We believe that we will be able to realise our vision by mobilising indigenous and other resources, to support movements and initiatives led by women, girls, trans and gender non-conforming persons, towards the realisation of their human rights,.

SAWF IN deploys an intersectional lens to ensure the inclusivity of different, layered axis of disempowerment and inclusion of diverse women - (LBT+); Dalit, Adivasi, women from poor communities urban and rural, women with disabilities; gender non-conforming people.
